Thanksgiving in Canada
Today’s winner of the Squidoo Thanksgiving Cookoff (for charity) is a Squidoo page dedicated to a childrens book written by Krys Val Lewicki called, Thanksgiving Day in Canada. The book explains why we call the holiday, Thanksgiving Day, and why the Canadians and the Americans celebrate it on separate days.
The page donates 100% of its royalties to Diabetes Research Institute and by winning the cookoff, Diabetes Research Institute will receive an additional $1000.00 and a chance at the $5000.00 grand prize donation.
