I have many apple trees in my yard and every year I prepare them for pies and freeze them. I put all the ingredients for the filling in a freezer bag and freeze. When I want to bake an apple pie I defrost the contents of the bag and put it in a pie shell and bake. It’s been a while since I made homemade crust but after reading your pie crust secrets I’m going to give it a try. Thanks, I have found this very useful and informative.
