The secret for the best candy recipe is out of the box!

One of our favorite Squidoo chefs has finally decided to spill the (vanilla) beans and share his favorite candy recipe for Espresso Sea Salt Caramel Truffles with us.

Previously this secret recipe was kept under lock and key and the only way you could enjoy these extravagant rich chocolate and caramel truffles was to order a box (or three) from the chef himself but he’s broken the silence and now we can all make this delicious candy recipe at home, in our own kitchens.

Espresso Sea Salt Caramel Truffles are made with soft caramel enrobed in dark chocolate and then topped with white chocolate and espresso sea salt.   Along with the recipe, the chef shares links to help you purchase all the candy making tools and special ingredients you’ll need to successfully recreate his decadent recipe at home.

Can’t wait to try one?  You can order these tasty truffles already made right from the chef’s recipe page as well!

Oh, my Robin! Thank you for this beautiful post about my candy. I’d like to add that this caramel is absolutely wonderful as a cake filling or for dipping fruit. You don’t necessarily have to limit yourself to truffle production. When my wife is not looking, I’m known (or not) for spooning it straight into my mouth!

Great post…I’ll admit to often eating what I am cooking…I could just skip the meal sometimes. Looks delicious!
