I recently discovered one of the most delicious looking Squidoo lenses I’ve ever seen. The Best Peach Cobbler Recipe not only contains one fabulous cobbler recipe but also step by scrumptious step photos demonstrating exactly how to make this fresh peach recipe.
I’m telling you, you can virtually smell it baking in the oven. And best of all this peach cobbler is really good for you too! No sugar here. The chef’s beautiful wife has replaced the sugar with Agave Nectar. (Don’t worry. You’ll find the best place to buy Agasweet at the lens too!)
The fun doesn’t stop with the pictures either. You’ll also find polls and places to share your opinions and recipes too!
Warning: Viewing The Best Peach Cobbler Recipe lens will make you dream about this heavenly dessert until you follow the recipe and make some of your own!

Here in the Carolina’s we’re already suffering through our first heat wave of the (not even yet) summer so I thought it would be a good idea to feature some recipes for the grill. (Who wants to cook indoors when the temperature is hovering around the 100 mark?) Â
So, in honor of the unusual weather, I’m featuring a lens about unusual burger recipes.
The Tastiest Hamburger Ever takes the hum drum out of hamburgers with surprising burger taste combinations such as a recipe for Sage and Onion Turkey Burgers topped with Cranberry Orange Sauce and The Uncow Burger served with Yogurt Feta Sauce.
The “chef” also shares a unique recipe for “the real deal” which contains an unusual ingredient, rolled oats, and a recipe for Buffalo Burgers for the more daring among us. Instead of ketchup you might want to try out the Green Tomato Salsa recipe instead.
My plans for this evening include firing up the old grill and slapping a few of those tasty turkey burgers on it. Care to join me?

First off I have to say that finding the following recipe lens at Group Headquarters this morning really made my day.Â
You Say You Don’t Like Salad not only contains an awesome chicken salad recipe but it’s really a lot of fun to read too! “The chef” has ingeniusly mixed an easy to follow delicous recipe with a bit of humor (and some great photos) and by doing so has created something out of this world.Â
You Say You don’t Like Salad truly exemplifies why I love Squidoo food and cooking lenses and is a prime example of my slogan: Cabaret Squidoo - the most fun you’ll ever have with recipes!Â
Stop by this lens today. You’ll leave it with a super salad recipe and a huge smile on your face!

You can make gorgeous professional-looking cakes at home (and save big time on bakery costs) if you know a few cake decorating tricks.
The secret ingredient that takes your ordinary looking decorated cake to the next level is called fondant and I found an excellent lens that explains everything you need to know about making and using this fun ingredient.
Fondant Cake  Decorating: It’s Play Doh for Grown Ups contains fondant recipes, easy to follow  directions for “playing with” and using fondant which includes both photo and video instruction, fabulous photos for inspiration, tools to make your cake decorating a snap, and for those of you who aren’t feeling all that adventurous, you can even find out where to buy your fondant, pre-made.Â
Another great place to find fondant decorating information is How to Make Iced Roses to Decorate Cakes where you’ll find detailed guidelines and several different methods of using fondant to make beautiful iced roses that are so pretty you might even be tempted to try making your own home made wedding cake.
My only word of caution to you if you are a fondant decorating beginner is to make (or purchase) more fondant than you think you might actually need so you’ll have plenty on hand to practice with. Once you get the hang of it, it’s addicting! You might even start using this fun frosting on all your cakes and cupcakes!

I was recently asked by DAD1104 to find some Gluten Free Recipe lenses. I found a couple that I think might be very helpful for those of you with Celiac disease.
The first one I found is called How to eat Gluten Free and contains some great recipes for Gluten free fruit and nut bars and Gluten free muffins. Although I haven’t tried either of them yet myself, they look pretty tasty!
I also found a fabulous lens about a Gluten Free Recipe Blog. The lens is called Gluten Free Godsmacked - Cooking and Living and was created to help promote the “chef’s” blog of the same name that shares ”Everyday Recipes From a Gluten Free Kitchen.” From what I saw at the blog on my quick little tour, I think you’ll find plenty of really wonderful gluten free recipes there. Be sure to bookmark it!

Whether you like it grilled or fried, in soup or in stew, all on its own or piled high on top of spaghetti, you have to admit that zucchini is one cool veggie. Its light taste blends well with all other vegetables while it’s natural sweetness stands out from the crowd.Â

Are you looking for something special to serve at your next party?Â
The party appetizers have always been my favorite part of the party. I mean, you could just toss some chips and pretzels into a bowl and be done with it but a really great party, the kind your friends keep talking about for weeks afterwards, always has a great assortment of appetizers available. I think that’s what keeps the fun going well into the night.
I know there are bunches of frozen appetizers on the market today but they just don’t compare to home made when it comes to taste. And home made dips and appetizers are usually cheaper in the long run too!Â
If you agree with me then I’ve got a couple of lenses you just might be interested in. My own Party Dips lens contains a list of recipe links to my all-time favorite party dip recipes. You’ll find easy to make, tried and true, both hot and cold party dips perfect for your next gathering or get together.
My Party Appetizers lens contains quick links to some really great appetizers and places to find even more appetizing Party appetizer recipes.
Be sure to visit both before planning your next party!
